Abstract
The role of the intramolecular spin-spin and the spin-rotation interac tions in the level-crossing spectra of the (CH3F)-C-13 nuclear spin co nversion is studied theoretically. we suggest an experiment to measure the nuclear spin conversion of (CH3F)-C-13 molecules in the presence of a strong electric field (6-7 kV cm(-1)). The Stark-induced rotation al level crossings would allow us to disentangle the spin-rotation and sin-spin interactions and to determine the unknown spin-rotation tran sverse anisotropy.
