Abstract
A case of retrotracheal goiter in the posterior mediastinum in a 53 ye ar-old woman revealed by dyspnea is here described. A computed tomogra phic scan and magnetic resonance imaging specified the his extension f rom the lower Slap of the thyroid, and its relationships in the medias tin. It was removed through a cervicotomy only.
