Abstract
Traumatic tattoos result from accidental deposition of pigmented parti cles in the dermis. Battery-operated devices should be added to the li st of situations in which traumatic tattoos may arise. Zn this case, a n iron-containing tattoo was removed by Mohs' micrographic surgery wit h an acceptable cosmetic result.
