Abstract
A method is proposed for the evaluation of infinite range irregular os cillatory integrals of the form I = integral(a)(infinity) f(x)e(iwxb) which is based on finding a contour in complex space which removes the oscillatory part. The resulting integral can then be evaluated conven tionally. Conditions on f are found for this process to be valid, and comparisons made with alternative methods. A highly competive algorith m is generated.
