CRYSTAL AND FLUID-LIKE ASSEMBLIES IN PLASMA SHEATHS

The broad topic of the dust-dust interaction phenomenology in the plas ma and in the plasma sheath is here analysed with reference to the wor k of the Oxford team. The theory includes preliminary consideration on the dust charge in the plasma sheath region, in a crystal environment and in the case of fast-moving particles. Among other experimental ob servations the dust-laser interaction and the motion of the particulat e in non uniform electric fields are shown in some detail.
