Abstract
The authors report 3 cases of Shigella flexneri bacteremia observed at the National Hospital Center Yalgado Ouedraogo of Ouagadougou (West A frica) in adults 29, 36 and 44 year of age. One of the patients was in fected by HIV and the others suffered from arterial hypertension. They all died.
