Abstract
A series of novel flavonoids comprising structural elements present in the antineoplastic agents podophyllotoxin and etoposide was synthesiz ed. These oxygen-containing analogues of antiproliferative quinolones exhibited moderate cytotoxicity towards L1210 and HT-29 cell lines.
