A RECURSIVE ALGORITHM FOR SIMULATION OF ECHO SIGNALS COMING FROM A GROUND SURFACE WITH A RANDOM REFLECTIVITY DISTRIBUTION CHARACTERIZED BY AN EXPONENTIAL CORRELATION-FUNCTION
Av. Kiselev, A RECURSIVE ALGORITHM FOR SIMULATION OF ECHO SIGNALS COMING FROM A GROUND SURFACE WITH A RANDOM REFLECTIVITY DISTRIBUTION CHARACTERIZED BY AN EXPONENTIAL CORRELATION-FUNCTION, Journal of communications technology & electronics, 43(1), 1998, pp. 55-58
The shaping of a signal that simulates a radar echo signal coming from
a ground surface is analyzed. The surface reflectivity is modeled by
a two-dimensional random process. A two-dimensional filtering algorith
m is constructed for the case of a random process characterized by an
exponential correlation function. The algorithm can be used to generat
e samples of the simulated signal when the statistical characteristics
of surface reflectivity are prescribed.
