The influence of a multifrequency signal on surveillance conditions in
nonlinear radiolocation is analyzed. A generalized expression is obta
ined for the synthesis of the optimum multifrequency signal allowing a
significant increase of the energy potential of the radar. The influe
nce of different types of signals on the detection characteristics is
shown.
