Abstract
A new type of [1,2] rearrangements of toluenesulfonyl group from nitro gen to neighboring carbon atom by n-butyllithium in tetrahydrofuran ha s been achieved in azoles, where the addition of lithium bromide accel erated the reaction in good yields.
