Abstract
The time dependence of the H-2 NMR spectra of a polystyrene/poly(vinyl methyl ether) blend in the course of phase separation is studied. It is found that the two processes, fast and slow, are involved in phase separation. The fast process is ascribed to the spinodal decomposition and the slow process is interpreted in terms of the homogenization of microheterogeneity in the phase-separated domains.
