Abstract
The first forbidden beta-decay of Ne-17 into the first excited state o f F-17 has been remeasured by a new direct method. The measured branch ing ratio, 1.56 +/- 0.20%, is consistent with that previously presente d; thus the large asymmetry of the beta-decay strength between Ne-17 a nd N-17 decays has been confirmed.
