The decays t --> cV (V = Z,gamma,g) induced through loop processes are
calculated in the top-color-assisted multiscale technicolor model. We
find that the extended technicolor interactions provide the main cont
ribution to these decays, and the total contribution can enhance the s
tandard model branching ratios by as much as 5 to 6 orders of magnitud
e, i.e., B(t --> cZ) similar to 10(-6), B(t --> c gamma) similar to 10
(-7), B(t --> cg) similar to 10(-5), for the favorable parameter value
s. This might provide an opportunity to detect the rare decays of the
top quark in experiments.
