Abstract
We define the radial moment [r] for jets produced in hadron-hadron col lisions. It can be used as a tool for studying, as a function of the j et transverse energy and pseudorapidity, radiation within the jet and the quality of a perturbative description of the jet shape. We also di scuss how nonperturbative corrections to the jet transverse energy aff ect [r].
