Abstract
A terrestrial food chain model designed to predict foodstuff concentra tions of PCDD/Fs from observed air and soil concentrations is describe d, and its efficacy evaluated by comparison of predicted and observed concentrations in specific foodstuffs and estimates of daily human exp osure. The limitations of the model are discussed and future research requirements identified. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
