Abstract
We review the Standard Model predictions of CP violation in kaon decay s. We present an elementary introduction to Chiral Perturbation Theory , four-quark effective Hamiltonians and the relation among them. Parti cular attention is devoted to K --> 3 pi, K --> 2 pi gamma and K --> p i (f) over bar f decays.
