Eo. Kochenour et al., SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTION - AN EFFECTIVE COMPONENT OF STUDENT AFFAIRS PROGRAMMING, Journal of college student development, 38(6), 1997, pp. 577-586
The effectiveness of Supplemental Instruction (SI) was examined using
11,000 participants in 8 varied courses at a large Rocky Mountain rese
arch university. Correlational analyses and analysis of covariance (AN
COVA) support the hypothesis that SI is an effective program that stud
ent affairs practitioners can use in their efforts to enhance student
learning and development.
