A relativistic version of the Landau theory of Fermi liquid in the pre
sence of an ultrastrong magnetic field is developed. The direct and ex
change interactions via the exchanges of both the scalar and the vecto
r bosons are considered. The model is applied to a system of weakly in
teracting strange quark matter to study the stability of the system.
