A two-dimensional wake model for turbulence profiles is developed for
(sharp-edged) bluff bodies based on similarity (self-preservation) and
universality (different shapes). The method employs spectral filterin
g around the shedding peak and normalization by the local maximum long
itudinal turbulence (I-um) and by the corresponding lateral coordinate
(y(m)).
