We consider numerical methods which exactly preserve the Gauss-Poisson
equation when solving the charge conservation and Maxwell-Ampere's eq
uations. Apart from the well-known leap-frog method, we present two si
tuations where this property is verified, one with rectangular mesh an
d functions defined at the center of the cells, and one with a finite
