Abstract
Morphoanatomical aspects of adult plants of Hatiora gaertneri (Regel) Barthlott (Cactaceae) were analised in the present work. Initial devel opment of the seedling was analised too. Structural aspects of the ste m with details about epidermis, periderm, stomata, parenchyma and muci laginous cells, besides distribution and organization of vascular bund les were presented.
