Abstract
Graphical representation of equilibria in aqueous systems are often us eful in studying the dissolution of a solid phase or the precipitation of a consistuent from solution. Potential-pH diagrams and activity-ac tivity diagrams are of great relevance to hydrometallurgy. The applica tions of such diagrams are discussed. Construction of potential -pH di agrams, particularly the computer programmes are explained.
