Abstract
Extensive right hepatectomy and replacement of the invaded inferior ve na cava were performed in a 14-year-old girl with fibrolamellar liver carcinoma. Despite the graft thrombosis the patient was discharged on the 5Oth post-operative day. After 3 years a solitary lung metastasis was resected and the patient remains with no sign of intra-abdominal o r intrathoracic recurrence.
