Abstract
The Au/MoO3/SnO2 thin film pretreated by cathodic polarization in 0.1 M LiClO4/PC solution was very sensitive to visible light. The colorati on response is 2.3 times that of MoO3/SnO2 sample. This improvement ma y be ascribed to big work function of Au which lengthened electron-hol e pair separation lifetime. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
