Abstract
The amplitude characteristics of an acoustic wave passing through a th in chaotic bubble screen are experimentally investigated. The transver se correlations of the forward scattered field are derived as a functi on of the receiver depth and the distance from the layer to the point of reception. This dependence yields the scale of correlation of inhom ogeneities in a thin chaotic screen.
