Abstract
We investigate the statistics of the rms delay spread for a two-path R ayleigh-fading channel with each path having an exponentially decaying delay power profile. We present equations for the statistics of the i nstantaneous (local) rms delay spread. We point out the difference bet ween the mean rms delay spread and the expected value of the instantan eous rms delay spread.
