PURPOSE: To report a case of corneal ulcer associated with deposits of
norfloxacin. METHOD: Case report. A 40-year old man with right trigem
inal and facial nerve palsies and de creased tear secretion developed
a corneal ulcer with white deposits in the right eye, The deposits wer
e removed and analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography, RESU

deposits on the corneal surface had the same retention time as norflo

covered successfully, CONCLUSION: Clinicians should be aware that freq
uent applications of topical norfloxacin in patients with decreased te
