Abstract
Characteristics of transitory myocardial ischemia were studied in 88 p atients with glomerulonephritis with hypertension and preserved or mod erately depressed renal function. Episodes of symptomatic or painless ischemia were registered in 71% of patients. Painless episodes prevail ed both in number and total duration, Frequency and duration of episod es of transitory myocardial ischemia had circadian variability with in crease in early morning hours.
