Abstract
In this paper, we study the propagation property of the transient sign als traveling along the microstrip using the method of the wavelet tra nsform. This method has the advantages of improving the computation sp eed and localizing the waveform at any time and at any point along the transmission line to zoom in compared with the conventional Fourier t ransform. We give the dispersion of the Gaussian signal and the rectan gle pulse signals on the microstrip. The results can be a reference in the study of the propagation of the ultra-high-speed and ultra-wide-b and transient signals and in the design of MIC and MMIC.
