Abstract
We construct a model in which there are no aleph(n)-Aronszajn trees fo r any finite n greater than or equal to 2, starting from a model with infinitely many supercompact cardinals. We also construct a model in w hich there is no kappa(++)-Aronszajn tree for kappa a strong limit car dinal of cofinality omega, starting from a model with a supercompact c ardinal and a weakly compact cardinal above it.
