Structuring of a coastal community is conditioned by abiotic factors.
The main factor is the hierarchy of water circulation in the coastal s
one. ''The rhythmical topography'' of the coast (feston structures) is
the reflection of this factor, Compositions of species within festons
(''biocenoses'') arise due to accumulating of species populations whi
ch is limited or encouraged by the whole complex of abiotic factors. L
ife cycles of macrobenthos are displayed in three-dimensional space, s
o that a particular distribution depends on the processes, connected w
ith the properties of the water column, The formation of initial lace
of precipitation cakes place as a result of redistribution of inert, b
ioinert and live (mesoplankton) suspension by the water circulation, T
he existence of macrobenthos which is a part of heterotrophic film at
the bottom surface is closely connected with this film and its nearest
functional space.
