The study deals with the structure and mechanical properties of compos
ites made of porous aluminum and AL2 alloy impregnated with dispersed
particles of TiO2. Studied were the effect of hot extrusion on shape,
size and volume fraction of pores in porous composites. Obtained were
curves of strain hardening of composites at 20, 300 and 500 degrees C,
strain rates varying from 1.5 10(-2) to 10(-1). It was shown that the
composite obtained from AL2 alloy possesses adequate high-temperature
properties.
