Abstract
In Part 1 of this two-part article (PEJ, June 1996), the importance of electricity demand forecasting, factors influencing the various range s of demand forecasting, and their correlation and contribution to dem and were discussed. Various models which can be used to identify the d emand pattern and underlying growth to predict future demand were pres ented. A step-by-step method of building a forecasting model was also provided. In this concluding tutorial, the techniques discussed earlie r will be applied to generate load and energy forecasts for a rapidly growing utility.
