Ao. Koca et T. Ege, FREQUENCY-SELECTIVE SURFACES ON ISOTROPIC CHIRAL SLABS, AEU-INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATIONS, 52(1), 1998, pp. 17-24
A full-wave analysis for the problem of scattering by a new frequency
selective surface (FSS), named Chiro-FSS, is presented. The Chiro-FSS
consists of a two dimensional infinite periodic array of thin, perfect
ly conducting elements printed on an isotropic chiral substrate. The a
nalysis is based on the Modal Analysis and Method of Moments combined
with the Floquet Theorem. Numerical results of reflection and transmis
sion characteristics of the Chiro-FSSs with cross dipoles, circular ri
ngs and rectangular plates are presented for normal incidence.
