Abstract
A practical model is presented for analysing the multiple access inter ference due to all visible interfering users in CDMA-based multispot b eam LEO satellite systems. The authors calculate the average bit error rate with perfect power control for different numbers of interfering users, showing that the amount of MAI has a substantial effect on the system capacity.
