Abstract
A 20 wavelength optical WDM transmitter capable of transmitting 12ps p ulses at 5Gbit/s for an aggregate rate of 100Gbit/s has been experimen tally demonstrated, based on a modelocked semiconductor laser. Tempora l synchronisation and wideband spectral correlation between the multiw avelength pulses are also achieved.
