Abstract
Fibre strength measurements according to LEC 793-1-3 were performed on draw-tower fibre Bragg gratings (FBGs), including an evaluation of th e stress corrosion susceptibility parameter. The FBGs suffer nearly no loss of strength, even though we wrote gratings with an index modulat ion more than three times higher than published recently.
