Abstract
The authors present a combining technique of adaptive array antenna an d multiple access interference (MAI) cancellation for increasing syste m capacity in wideband code division multiple access (W-CDMA) systems. From the simulation results, an improvement in system performance pro portional to the number of antenna is observed and additional improvem ent is obtained due to the interference cancellation.
