Abstract
Reactions of allyltributylstannanes with enones were studied. Although the parent allylstannane would not react with enones, an electrophili c variation was successful. The reaction provides perhaps one of the o nly nonbasic and non-nucleophilic alternatives to the classic conjugat e additions. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
