Jwh. Lam et al., DETERMINATION OF CHROMIUM IN BIOLOGICAL TISSUES BY INDUCTIVELY-COUPLED PLASMA-MASS SPECTROMETRY, Journal of analytical atomic spectrometry, 10(8), 1995, pp. 551-554
The determination of chromium in biological samples by inductively cou
pled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) has been studied. Different mod
es of sample preparation and methods of determination have been explor
ed to minimize the interference effect from polyatomic species origina
ting from residual carbon in the sample solution. The most successful
is the use of an air-argon mixed nebulizer gas plasma in conjunction w
ith isotope dilution analysis.
