PSEUDOTUMORAL CONJUNCTIVAL FOREIGN-BODY

Pseudo-tumoral presentation of a superficial conjunctival foreign body . A 4-year-old girl was seen in consultation for an apparent conjuncti val tumor of the inner canthus of the right eye. With a soft traction, the tumor was detached of the conjunctiva, as it represented in fact a foreign body. Histopathology helped to diagnose that the foreign bod y was made of textile fiber. Superficial conjunctival foreign bodies m ay sometimes appear difficult to identify primarily especially in chil dren.
