Cavernous haemangiomas are most commonly found in the subcortical whit
e matter, the pens and the external capsule. We present a case of a ca
vernous haemangioma that appeared as an intraventricular mass at the f
oramen of Monro. Despite the unusual location the diagnosis was establ
ished by MRI because of the typical appearance, The differential diagn
osis included primary and secondary neoplasms at the foramen of Monro.
