Av. Ignatenko et al., INVESTIGATION OF THE MECHANISM OF THE REACTION N-15(ALPHA,T)O-16 AT E-ALPHA=30.3 MEV BY THE METHOD OF ANGULAR T-GAMMA CORRELATIONS, Physics of atomic nuclei, 61(1), 1998, pp. 1-8
The double-differential cross sections for the reaction N-15(alpha, t
gamma)O-16 at E-alpha = 30.3 MeV were measured for triton emission ang
les lying in the range between 18 degrees and 160 degrees. All even sp
in-tenser components of the density matrix for the final nucleus are r
econstructed in a model-independent way. The angular dependences of th
e population of magnetic substates of the 3(-) 6.131-MeV state are pre
sented together with the components of the orientation tensor for mult
ipole moments of this state. Experimental data are compared with the r
esults of calculations performed by assuming the nucleon-stripping mec
hanism, which is taken into account by the coupled-channel method, and
the mechanism of compound-nucleus production.
