Abstract
A series of phenyl Hydrogen alpha-(benzyloxycarbonylamino)benzylphosph onates are prepared from the reaction of benzyl carbamate, substituted benzaldehydes and phenoxydichlorophosphine in acetic chloride and sub sequent hydrolysis. The reactions proceed smoothly in mild condition a nd afford the title compounds in good yields.
