Abstract
Optically active alpha-methyl beta-hydroxy (carbamate-protected) enols ilanes were prepared in two steps: silyloxy-allyltitanation of achiral or chiral aldehydes was followed by the protection of the hydroxy gro up, using respectively chiral or achiral isocyanates.
