Abstract
Treatment of 1H-4,5-dihydro-3-aryl-5-(2-hydroxyaryl)pyrazole with o-di bromoxylene under liquid-liquid phase transfer catalytic conditions us ing tetra-n-butylammonium hydrogen sulphate or [18]crown-6 as PT catal yst, benzene/chloroform as organic phase and 50% aqueous potassium hyd roxide as second phase, afforded novel 2,5,9,10-tetrahydro [7,8-g] ben zo-8-arylpyrazolo[4,5-e] [1,5-b] benzoxazonines.
