Abstract
A C-glycosyl chromone, named as 7-O-methylaloesinol, was newly isolate d from the leaf exudate of Aloe capensis and identified as 8-C-beta-D- glucopyranosyl xypropyl]-7-methoxy-5-methyl-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one by c hemical and spectral evidence.
