Abstract
C60Cl6 Reacts with allyltrimethylsilane in the presence of TiCl4 to fo rm a C-S symmetrical, hexaallyl addended [60]fullerene derivative, C-6 0(CH2CH=CH2)(6), in 58% yield; C-60(CH2CH=CH2)(5)Cl is separated as a minor reaction product in 14% yield.
