Abstract
A model related to cellular process controllers is used to predict the global and local mechanical behaviour of two-phase viscoplastic aggre gates in the field of large deformations. The responses of two types o f structures, uniform and in clusters, are compared in tension and in axisymmetric compression. They show a work hardening of morphological and topological origin. The grain deformation bar graphs show that the heterogeneities are more pronounced in the hard phase than in the sof t phase.
