Abstract
A unidirectional single-frequency monolithic ring laser with an acoust o-optical isolator mas proposed and investigated experimentally. Retur n of the diffracted radiation to the acousto-optical interaction regio n had a significant influence on tile characteristics of the output ra diation of such monolithic lasers with a monochromatically pumped end face.
